Tenerife International
International Restaurants in Tenerife
The southern resorts hold one of the broadest international restaurant trades anywhere in Spain, and pretending otherwise would misdescribe the island. Decades of British, German and Scandinavian visitors, plus the residents who came with them, built a dense run of Indian, Chinese, Thai, Argentinian and northern European kitchens through Costa Adeje, Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas.
Quality covers the full range. The strip aimed at passing trade is what it is, but a step back from the seafront there are kitchens run by people who came here to cook rather than to catch a season. Menus are usually in three or four languages and most places serve continuously from lunch into the evening.
