Tenerife Nightclubs

Clubbing on the island is concentrated, which makes it easy to find and easy to avoid. Playa de las Americas holds almost all of the visitor-facing clubs, several of them in one complex, and they fill somewhere between one and two in the morning and run until dawn.

Santa Cruz has the local alternative, a smaller number of rooms working a wider range of music for a Spanish crowd that arrives even later. Costa Adeje leans towards the beach-club-into-the-evening format rather than a dedicated club. Carnival in February is the exception to all of it: for a fortnight the street in Santa Cruz is the venue.
