Tenerife Airport transfers

The run from Tenerife South to the main resorts takes twenty to thirty minutes, and to Puerto de la Cruz in the north it is closer to an hour and a half. From Tenerife North the north coast is close and the south is the long way round, which catches people out.

A pre-booked private transfer meets you in arrivals with the fare fixed in advance and the driver tracking the flight, which is worth it on the late-night arrivals a lot of the charter traffic involves. The alternatives are the airport bus, which is cheap and slow, and the taxi rank, which is metered and fine but has no fixed price before you set off.
