Does Barbarian Diving teach PADI or SSI courses?
SSI. Both are internationally recognised and a certification from either is accepted worldwide, but if you are part-way through a PADI qualification it is worth asking how the centre handles the crossover before booking.
What can you dive on near Los Cristianos?
Several wrecks within a short boat ride, including El Condesito, El Penon and El Meridian, plus the twin wrecks at Los Gemelos. The wall at Palm Mar and the caves at Punta Prieta cover the natural sites on the same stretch.
Can a complete beginner dive with Barbarian Diving?
Yes. The centre runs try dives for people who have never been under, and the full recreational ladder above that. A try dive needs no certification and is done in shallow water with an instructor alongside throughout.
